November 01, 2002 - 6 pm Looks like I'll have to be content with The Exorcist in terms of hanging out with Mitch for a while. He called this afternoon to cancel - too tired and too much to do with lifting his house tomorrow. I feel sorry for him about his house - he's been waiting for a loan for a long time, and he wanted to get this project done before we left for Montana - more than two months ago. Now he has to do what he can in the cold and dark of November. No choice, either - some parts of the house are in bad shape and need to be supported immediately. So despite that downer on the day, I think I'll go ahead with plans of apple cider, popcorn, and Poltergeist. At least my room is really clean. |
